SANAA, Nov 02, 2009 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- A delegation organized by Japan Judo Federation (JJF) arrived in Sanaa, the Yemeni capital, on Monday to take part in a regional training course named "Kata Judo Techniques".
The delegation headed by the Judo expert coach Shushi Da is due to participate in the regional training course organized by the Yemeni Youth Welfare Fund, the Yemeni news agency SABA reported on Monday.
The regional "Kata Judo Techniques" course kicked off in the capital on Nov. 1 and would last until Nov. 7.
"The Japanese delegation is scheduled to give lectures to around 40 trainers from Yemen, Kuwait, Palestine and Djibouti on new theoretical and practical techniques of the kata judo," SABA quoted the president of Arab-Yemeni Judo Federation Numan Shahir as saying.
"The lectures are aiming at refining the participants' skills at this game," said Shahir.
